2020 Newnan Citizen Academy Registration

Thank you for your interest in being a participant in the City of Newnan's 2020 Newnan Citizen Academy Class!

For more than 15 years, the Newnan Citizen Academy has provided city residents and business owners the unique opportunity to see and learn firsthand what goes into making the City of Newnan a special place to live and work.

By completing this application, you are entering a lottery to be chosen as a participant in the 2020 class, and there is no guarantee that by filling out this application that you will be called to participate, as space is limited.

The Academy will run for nine (9) sessions on Tuesdays between 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm with dinner provided. There is no cost for this class, however, we do request that if you sign up for the program that you are willing to commit, to the best of your ability, to attend each of the nine sessions.

Academy Eligibility & Requirements:

Applicants must be a resident, work, or own a business in the City of Newnan
Must be at least 18 years of age or older
Classes are limited to 20 participants. Therefore, class rosters will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
